When they were not tossing cabbages and borscht at band audience was enjoying music from Russia, Serbia, Jewish and Romani (Gypsy) traditions and more. Audience was also treated to features such as Soviet News from New Zealand and the ever popular Slide Show (a favourite of radio listening audience).
Transmissions of The CZRH were occurring at the Nelson Arts Festival, the Free House (Nelson), Mussel Inn (Takaka), The Playhouse (Mapua). Comrade Z was also entertain rugby fans at the Rugby Fan Zone on Trafalgar St. (Nelson).
Next transmission: Отаго фестиваль искусств– October 2012– Dunedin, New Zealand
The band is rumoured for having split up, with two band members having ‘disappeared’. Rumours are partially untrue– Comrade Z is booked for several performance in 2012 including Отаго фестиваль искусств. But unfortunate is true that two band members are missing, presumed dead. This is making rehearsals difficult. Da.
